At Veracity Racing Data, we specialize in data systems for road racing, but these systems can also be used for autocross, circle track, drag racing, motorcycles, or karts.

We can help you select the right system for your needs, since we offer the widest selection of systems available from any one source, and we back up our sales with technical support via telephone, e-mail or even trackside at some SCCA and Pro events. Wondering what a data acquisition can do for you? You'll find some of our thoughts here.

Big news for Veracity Racing Data is that we've moved to our new location in Paso Robles, California. We've got a new facility where we can easily work on customer cars. Located in the heart of wine country, bring your car for a bit of work, and take in a bit of wine tasting at the same time.

AIM introduced a couple of new video products. The DaVID 2 is a video recorder and playback device that includes a display, and the ability to overlay data from a CANbus connection. They also demonstrated the SmartyCam -- a super small all-in-one solid state video camera/recorder with integrated GPS, G-sensor, and the ability to overlay additional data from an AIM logger or and ECU. It even has an integrated display to help you aim the camera. Another new application -- a GPS-logging sports watch called MyTach

CDS is now shipping their GPS-2 , a beacon & wheelspeed replacement that works with AIM, MoTeC, Pi and Stack products. We carry their full-line of display loggers, and channel expansion, that are flexible enough to work in any application. Let us help customize a CDS system for your needs.

ChaseCam was showing a protoype of their new ChaseCam HD due out later this spring. The original ChaseCam recorder has been upgraded with built-in G-sensor for automatic start logging, and special internal capacitors for graceful shutdown when the external power is removed. Existing units can be updated if you wish, contact us for details.

MoTeC introduced several new products -- the ADL3 is a new dash/logger, featuring 10 times the internal processing power of previous models, so it can now run nearly all the math functions in the dash so results can be sent via telemetry. This unit features Ethernet download. There are new super-flexible ECUS in store for 2009, as well as lower-cost power distribution modules.

Stack has produced a new line of their super-rugged digital video recorders (DVR), which now uses Compact Flash, and is available in Club, Pro versions, along with a new 4-camera version. The MFD display and MFR recorder have been well received in 2008, and looks to be a strong products for 2009 and beyond. One unique feature of Stack is the availabllity of wireless 802.11 download. Great for multi-cars teams, where the time to download each car really adds up.

Pi Research has a new Omega dash-logger -- with Mil-spec connectors, and gorgeous back-lit display and an attractive $3450 price tag -- it's Indy-car technology that a club racer can use.

Race Technology showed their new Video4, a recording and logging system that records to compact flash, and features the ability to overlay data logged by the Race Technology DL1.

We've recently updated the trade-in page, you never know what you'll find.

We also carry the William C. Mitchell "Racing by the Numbers" software. The popular WinGeo3 program is used to analyze suspension geometry, and the effects of bump & roll.

Another recent addition is the Ultimate Rain Light. The solid-state light is now available with a variety of harnesses with one or two lights and dual brake/rain light function.
